Frithia is a member of the plant family Aizoaceae. The species of this genus grow in South Africa. The plants are small and stemless, similiar to Fenestraria, with grey-green, clubbed, erect leaves, about 2 cm long, rough and a waxy surface. The sessile flowers are white-yellow or white-violett. The name Frithia honors the horticulturalist Frank Frith (1872-1954).
